Saturday started out with lots of sunshine and the promise of a hot day. We ventured in to the historic part of the city and toured the royal palace.
While waiting to get in, we tried to sing an impromptu rendition of Shenandoah, but the guards were having none of it. NO SINGING!
The palace is built in Arabic style, but also filled with Christian and Jewish symbols. Very interesting and so beautiful!

We also toured the Seville cathedral. Our guide told us it is the third largest in the world, behind St Peter's in Rome and St Paul's in London. Christopher Columbus is entombed there in an impressive statue.
The bell tower has a 360 degree view of the surrounding city and some very impressive bells at the top.
After a long morning of guided tours, we had lots of time for wandering around the shops and restaurants. Gelato and Tapas. Maybe some Sangria as well. It is very important for singers to keep hydrated. Shopping of course!
Saturday night we sang an anthem for Mass at a local church and then performed a full concert for a packed house. We were a little concerned at 8 pm when only 3 people arrived for Mass. Then we learned it actually began at 8:30! Lots of people arrived for mass, and lots more afterwards for the concert. Shouts of Bravo! and standing ovations again. So much fun!

The concert ran way too long and we got scolded for being late to our after-concert Tapas diner at El Rinconcillo. Amazing traditional Andalucian food, lots of wine and sangria (again, hydration!)
We finally staggered back to the hotel and collapsed in to bed. Call time is not until 10 AM tomorrow, blissfully,
