Day 7 -May 27 I can’t wait to get on the road again.

Pack it all up! Load it all in! Head it on out! We wandered north towards Valencia today. A long road trip, but beautiful scenery along the way.

We made a few quick stops along the way for road trip snacks. Pringles and gummy bears seemed to be a popular poison. There were some (a lot) of giggles about the vending machine selling some (ahem) adult items. Something fun to do on the bus, I guess…

We made to Alicante, on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea, for a late lunch

Then, once we were checked in at our new hotel, we were treated to a huge paella for dinner. Paella has many variations throughout Spain, and the traditional version here is with lots of chicken and green peppers and flat green beans. Tasty!
